Orion bus # 510 (1995 model) nearly came to an early end due to an engine fire. Bus was on the Q44 route on Main Street north of Elder Ave.  Bus was repaired and is still in service at Queens Village depot

It's May15th, 1955 & PCC 1010 is leaving the Ocean Parkway underpass on Church Avenue at East 5th Street. This car was modified for better ventilation. Note the air vents on the front. This car is heading towards the 16th Avenue Loop on McDonald Ave near Cortelyou Road. Present B35 Bus service short turns at 35 Street and Church Avenue
